PeeWee is for players born in 2006 & 2007.
Registration opened online February 1st for returning players in PeeWee. New and transferring players can begin registering June 1st, 2018. Online registration is not available for players new to our association. You can register in person at the KMHA office or by sending in the form via fax, email or mail. A copy of your child's birth certificate must accompany the registration. Registration fees are due by July 1st. Fees for new players registered after July 1st will be due at the time of registration. For more information on registration, and forms of payment accepted, etc. please go to the REGISTRATION page on this website.
The registration fee for PeeWee aged players is $540.00. A $100 jersey deposit is also due at the time of registration. This is a one time fee that will be refunded to you when your child no longer registers with our association, as long as the jersey is returned at the end of each season in acceptable condition.
KMHA made it mandatory starting in the 2013-2014 season that all players have a parent/guardian take the Respect in Sport (Parent) course prior to participation. The cost of the course is $12 per family, and course information can be found on the right hand side of this page. Please note: this course MUST be completed before your child will be allowed on the ice.
KMHA is a volunteer driven association. Each family is required to volunteer time in the score-clock and fulfill tournament duties when it is their turn to do so.
Our season begins September 11th with player evaluations. Teams are drafted in October. Players must wear full equipment for all ice times (helmet, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, athletic protection, pants, shin guards, skates) and bring their own stick. Once players are placed on a team, jerseys and socks will be distributed. The season will end in March, before Spring Break. Please note: it is mandatory that players in PeeWee wear Mouth Guards.
Weekday practices will rotate through Tuesday to Thursday, with games on Saturday or Sunday. In the event that we have extra ice, teams may play more than one game on a weekend, which may also include a Friday evening.
