Youth Care Packages – Donations
Did you know Kamloops has a homeless youth population? Whether it’s living in shelters or couch surfing where they can, these kids do not have a home of their own.
This year Kamloops Minor Hockey is working with Interior Community Services to help make basic necessities more accessible to these kids.
We’re asking for donations that we can make into care packages for these youth.
A donation box will be set up inside the KMHA office until December 19th to collect every day necessities such as toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, socks and non perishable food items (please see the attached list for more ideas). KMHA will be accepting monetary donations as well to purchase items for these packages. The office is open Mon-Fri 11-5pm.
