Board Members: Every year KMHA has positions to fill on their Board. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated and committed to responsibilities that extend past board meetings, straightforward and impartial, knowledgeable with a desire to learn, and able to be discrete and demonstrate confidentiality. KMHA AGM is scheduled for TBD. Nominations must be submitted 3 weeks in advance of the AGM date.

Board Committee Members: 

• Rep Hockey - general oversight and monitoring of the representative divisions within the Association.
• Rec Hockey - general oversight and monitoring of the recreation divisions within the Association.
• Finances - oversight related to the Society’s auditing and reporting, financial policies and strategies, and financial risk management.
• Human Resources - responsible for overseeing the establishment of employment policies for the Society’s staff and for policies related to volunteers, and for monitoring compliance with those policies.
• Conduct - for establishing and monitoring standards of behavior, identifying inappropriate behaviors, promoting proactive strategies, establishing and monitoring disciplinary policy and establishing and monitoring dispute resolution processes
• Risk Management - ensuring the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management program and for monitoring compliance with program standards and objectives.
• Female Hockey - making recommendations for athlete development related to female recreational and competitive hockey, for sharing best practices, and for providing the Board with advice on key issues affecting female hockey.
• Hockey Development - responsible for the general oversight of the Society’s development programs by ensuring the establishment of program practice standards, monitoring compliance with such standards, monitoring performance of programs against approved objectives, and providing regulation and budget recommendations.
