Hockey Divisions
Under-7 (U7) - is for players born in 2018, 2019, 2020.
Under-9 (U9) - is for players born in 2016 & 2017.
Under-11 (U11) - is for players born in 2014 & 2015.
Under-13 (U13) - is for players born in 2012 & 2013.
Under-15 (U15) - is for players born in 2010-2011.
Under-18 (U18) - is for players born in 2007, 2008, 2009.
Within KMHA, hockey is divided into two groups, Recreational (Rec) and Representative (Rep). Recreation hockey typically has one practice and one game per week. League play will consist of KMHA teams with limited travel. Rep hockey is for more competitive players who are looking for higher level of competition. This will come with a larger commitment and higher fees.
Recreation hockey begins with U7 and continues through to U18. Rep hockey begins in U11 with an introduction to competitive hockey through the U11 development program. Rep hockey continues through to U18.
